Notes of almond, slightly tart with a floral nose. 

This is our signature coffee! When we started Sontule, we knew we wanted to bring Luis's family coffee from their community to ours…and now we have!! It doesn't get more Direct Trade than this.  

Why do we call it Los Carpules? It is called Carpules because on the Acuna/Velasquez farm it was common to find this nest of ants known as sompopos, the local people call them Carpules. Adolfo (Luis's dad) decided to name the farm Los Carpules, because he knew it was the place he could build his nest. The family began working on the coffee project in 1983 and to this day continues with the same love of producing this amazing coffee. Because growing and harvesting coffee is demanding, they consistently dedicate their effort to every stage of the process. Carpules coffee is more than flavor, it is history, quality and the most beautiful thing produced by people full of love and a passion to offer a great cup of coffee.
